A Summer Song radiates sunny warmth and vivaciousness with its golden tones and mineral shine. An elephant strolls about as little rabbits take a break from eating their carrots to observe him. A cheeky monkey sits on the elephant’s back while fish swim through the vermilion sky.

Sail, is one of the few pieces from Wang where figurative and abstract meet. She created a lovely smokey and abstract sea, behind a body of origami-like shaped boats. Some of the boats are clearer than others depending on the colour and placement in the work. We can’t quite figure if all the boats are supposedly in the the see or the shore which adds another abstract and mysterious layer to the narration of the painting.
Wang allows a space in her works for the audience’s own interpretations and emotions. She has a very loving and peaceful nature, yearning for good and looking towards the future which is depicted into her art. The works very much talk about romance, sincerity, amiability and nature.
