Chinoiserie Floral Silk Scarf, Light Blue

£50.00

Item Code: #C208004

Availability: In stock

This unique silk scarf has a design that was reproduced in Owen Jones’s book the “Grammar of Chinese Ornament”. The image is striking not only for the its fine detail and the technical skill shown in its production, but also for its exquisite colouring and ornamentation. The image is part of a vast archive of Chinese ornamentation that appear in the V&A Museum and other collections.
