Instead, Artist Xie’s work projects balance and harmony and it frequently betrays his humorous spirit. If you look carefully you will notice his characters’ eyes bare the imprint of the Yin and Yang symbol. His subjects include Buddha, terracotta soldiers, opera singers, political leaders, and small creatures imbued with inner peace.
