This unique cushion cover has a design inspired by the artwork of Zhao Ji. He is the eighth emperor of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) is generally credited as the artist behind “Auspicious Cranes,” a legendary masterpiece of traditional Chinese brush painting.
The cushion cover features a flock of twenty white cranes appear in a carefully designed compositional swirl in an azure sky above city gates that rise mysteriously from an illuminated layer of cloud, a scene of otherworldly beauty.
